My mom  abandoned the family when I was still very young.  She let with two of my siblings and I remained under my father’s care.  I also lived with two of my siblings. We shared a one-room rented house. Our kitchen, sitting area and bedroom where all in the same small space. It was very congested. My dad repairs shoes for a living and does not earn enough money to buy our food and send us to school.  We would wander in the village looking for food instead of attending school. I am very thankful to live at Mahiga Children’s Home with my brother, George.  I am in Nursery School.
