My mom passed away from AIDS.  I am also sick.  I do not know anything about my father.  I am the youngest of four children.  When my mom died we went to live with a
relative but he has his own children and struggled to take care of me.  Life was hard.  I then went to live with  my grandmother but she is very elderly and did not have a source of income either.  I was not able to start attending school when I should have because we did not have any money.  I came to Mahiga Children’s Home in 2011 and was only in Class 2, even though I was 11 years old.  I am now in Class 7 and doing my best in school!  I enjoy music.
