My dad was the breadwinner of our family.  I have two older sisters and an older brother.  My dad was shot and killed suddenly by a group of thieves.  It was so difficult for us as a family!  My mom was unemployed at the time and could not find a job to support us.  We started going days without eating and life became very dark.  In 2011 when I was 8 years old my sister, Mercy, and I came to live at Mahiga Children’s Home.  It was the only way we were going to survive and stay in school.  I love it here!  School is not easy for me but I try my best. I am now in Class 7 (7th grade).  I enjoy playing ball games.
